1995: Earned a Master of Fine Arts in Oil Painting from the Graduate School of Nagoya City University (Nagoya, Japan) 1999 -2000: Art residency and research at Hunter College, City University of New York (USA)
2006: Resident artist at the St. Barnabas International Printmaking Centre, Cambridge, UK (invited by the center)
